Newton Office - "Coming from a farm background, I learned early that hard work yielded results. This has been proven by leading Citizens Financial Services to be recognized as a "Top Financial Institution" by its broker dealer in 2016. In 1981, I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Economics from Bethel College. Being involved in banking and investments has spanned my entire work career, beginning with an investment banking firm in Texas and later serving as a senior lending officer for two other larger Kansas banks. Becoming Series 7 registered in 1998 and later on as an Investment Advisor allows me to help clients protect assets, generate growth, and pursue consistent returns. With nearly thirty years of insights and knowledge gained from successfully managing client portfolios in constantly changing markets, I am equipped for the current investment climate. I am also able to help families manage risk and help prepare the next generation for the legacy they will receive. My approach is to think carefully, plan thoughtfully, and act deliberately with the money entrusted to our firm. Balanced diversification along with smart strategies for a new reality allow us to invest with cautious optimism. Understanding that credible strategies for today's challenges can't be based on old information or future predictions guides me to be grounded in long-term fundamentals with adjustments for today's market."
